Introducing the 3000i series
Our most affordable range consists of the 3010i bookshelf, 3020i and 3030i standmount models, 3050i floorstander, with the 3090i centre channel and 3060S slimline subwoofer completing the line-up for a 5.1 home cinema set-up.
Technology from the high end
The 3000i series features acoustic and cabinet technologies first introduced in our high-end flagship floorstanding loudspeaker, the Concept 500. Every model in the range benefits from these ground-breaking innovations.
The style to satisfy
Every model in the range features elegantly curved cabinetry and is available in a choice of Carbon Black, Arctic White, Graphite Grey and English Walnut finishes. These veneers are complemented by chrome-finish bezels and magnetic grilles.
Low-end power and control
The 3060S is a much slimmer and more discreet subwoofer than the norm, but thanks to its powerful 150-watt amplifier and high-performance 200mm bass driver it can generate all the low-frequency presence a home cinema system demands. And its tidy dimensions and choice of four finishes means it looks much more discreet than it sounds.
P2P™ (Point to Point) bracing
Q Acoustics P2P™ (Point to Point™) bracing technology is used throughout the 3000i series - it supports the parts of the cabinet that need to be stiffened, making the new enclosures exceptionally rigid. This improves the focus of the stereo image and gives the soundstage more accuracy than ever before.
High-frequency driver design
The 3000i tweeter unit is mechanically isolated from the baffle via a compliant suspension system to prevent internal pressure modulations from within the cabinet and from the adjacent mid/bass driver - this allows the high-frequency driver to perform with dramatically reduced interference compared to more traditional designs.
Mid/bass driver design
Every 3000i model is fitted with precision-formed mid/bass drivers made from a combination of impregnated and coated paper with a newly developed, low-hysteresis rubber surround. The coated paper cone provides the optimum balance between stiffness and self-damping, which means it can accelerate without flexing and stop very accurately without unwanted resonance.
HPE™ (Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer)
The 3050i, like all floorstanding loudspeakers, is vulnerable to internal build-up of pressure that causes both unwanted standing waves and colouration. To prevent this occurring, specially designed HPE™ (Helmholtz Pressure Equaliser™) tubes are fitted inside the cabinet to nullify internal pressure and improve frequency response.

Frequently Asked Questions:
What are the best bookshelf speakers under $1000 for home theater and music?
Some of the best bookshelf speakers under $1000 for home theater and music are
the ones that combine clean dialogue reproduction with a lively, detailed stereo
presentation. Q Acoustics’ bookshelf models are widely loved for this
versatility, though you can also consider well-reviewed alternatives like
Edifier, KEF (often on sale), and Polk depending on availability and your room
size.
Which floorstanding speakers are known for great value and sound quality in the
US market?
In the US market, floorstanding speakers that consistently win praise for value
tend to deliver balanced tuning, strong midrange clarity, and good bass
performance for the price. Q Acoustics is known for award-winning floorstanders
that offer impressive sound quality and a great “pay less, hear more”
experience—though other brands like Klipsch and Wharfedale also have solid
options depending on your room and taste.
What center channel speakers should I choose for a budget-friendly 5.1 or 5.2
home theater setup?
For a budget-friendly 5.1 or 5.2 setup, look for a center channel with a similar
voicing to your left/right speakers to keep dialogue clear and the soundstage
cohesive. Q Acoustics center channels are a popular choice for this reason, and
pairing them with matching bookshelf or floorstanding speakers can deliver
standout clarity without blowing the budget.
Are active speakers a good upgrade for gaming and movies compared with
traditional powered speakers?
Yes—active speakers can be a great upgrade for gaming and movies because they
include built-in amplification, making setup faster and reducing the number of
boxes you need. That said, traditional powered/amp-driven speaker setups can
match or exceed performance if you already have a quality amp; Q Acoustics’
speaker lineup also includes models that work beautifully in both music-first
and home-theater setups.
Which speaker brands offer fast free shipping, easy returns, and a limited
warranty on home audio equipment?
Many top home-audio brands offer fast shipping, simple returns, and warranties,
but the specifics can vary by retailer and model. With Q Acoustics award-winning
home audio speakers, you can often find streamlined delivery and straightforward
support options—plus thoughtful warranty coverage—so upgrading your system feels
low-risk.
