Boasting room-filling sound with its 100mm (4 in) and 22mm (0.9 in) precision drivers, focussing on power-to-size ratio, the crossover has been revised to take advantage of a larger cabinet volume to enhance sensitivity and bass extension.
Slim-line & versatile design to shelf or stand mount to fit seamlessly into your chosen listening room
25% larger cabinet than its predecessor delivering a larger scale sound and deeper bass
P2P™ bracing – helps keep the enclosure extra quiet through computer aided placement of internal bracing
Uses a 22mm decoupled High Frequency Driver with wide surround creating a wide even dispersion of stereo image
Low Profile Terminals - recessed cut-out reduces cabinet noise and allows them to be close proximity to rear walls
New low profile binding posts have been incorporated with sockets deep enough to accept 4mm (0.16 in) Banana Plugs
Introducing the 3000i series
Our most affordable range consists of the 3010i bookshelf, 3020i and 3030i standmount models, 3050i floorstander, with the 3090i centre channel and 3060S slimline subwoofer completing the line-up for a 5.1 home cinema set-up.
Technology from the high end
The 3000i series features acoustic and cabinet technologies first introduced in our high-end flagship floorstanding loudspeaker, the Concept 500. Every model in the range benefits from these ground-breaking innovations.
The style to satisfy
Every model in the range features elegantly curved cabinetry and is available in a choice of Carbon Black, Arctic White, Graphite Grey and English Walnut finishes. These veneers are complemented by chrome-finish bezels and magnetic grilles.
Low-end power and control
The 3060S is a much slimmer and more discreet subwoofer than the norm, but thanks to its powerful 150-watt amplifier and high-performance 200mm bass driver it can generate all the low-frequency presence a home cinema system demands. And its tidy dimensions and choice of four finishes means it looks much more discreet than it sounds.
P2P™ (Point to Point) bracing
Q Acoustics P2P™ (Point to Point™) bracing technology is used throughout the 3000i series - it supports the parts of the cabinet that need to be stiffened, making the new enclosures exceptionally rigid. This improves the focus of the stereo image and gives the soundstage more accuracy than ever before.
High-frequency driver design
The 3000i tweeter unit is mechanically isolated from the baffle via a compliant suspension system to prevent internal pressure modulations from within the cabinet and from the adjacent mid/bass driver - this allows the high-frequency driver to perform with dramatically reduced interference compared to more traditional designs.
Mid/bass driver design
Every 3000i model is fitted with precision-formed mid/bass drivers made from a combination of impregnated and coated paper with a newly developed, low-hysteresis rubber surround. The coated paper cone provides the optimum balance between stiffness and self-damping, which means it can accelerate without flexing and stop very accurately without unwanted resonance.
HPE™ (Helmholtz Pressure Equalizer)
The 3050i, like all floorstanding loudspeakers, is vulnerable to internal build-up of pressure that causes both unwanted standing waves and colouration. To prevent this occurring, specially designed HPE™ (Helmholtz Pressure Equaliser™) tubes are fitted inside the cabinet to nullify internal pressure and improve frequency response.

"Whether you’re looking to put together a Hi-Fi system on a budget or simply don’t have room for larger stand-mount or floor-standing speakers, the 3010i are unlikely to disappoint. These compact bookshelf speakers pack more sound per pound than you have any right to expect for the money."
